Hire a Book Editor

So, you’ve decided to hire a book editor. Congratulations! Whether you have a solid third draft completed or still need help with organization, you’ve come to the right place to receive book guidance.

Getting Started

Please fill out the form below. This form is just a general inquiry and does not require you to book any services.

I’ll get back to you within 48 hours. In my email, I will respond to your inquiry and make recommendations on how we can work together. I will also offer you an optional, complimentary 15-minute video call to get to know you better and further discuss your project! Once we have settled on services, rates, and deadlines, we’ll sign a contract and I’ll get to work!

How it works

Step 1

Fill out the general inquiry questionnaire. It should only take a few minutes and will help me determine whether we are a good fit. I will get back to you within 48 hours.

Step 2

You’ll send me your manuscript, and I will perform a free sample edit (500-1000 words) of the kind of editing I believe it needs. This will help you determine if you like my editing style.

Step 3

If you would like, we can meet in person or over Zoom for 15 minutes to further discuss the kind of editor you are looking for.

Step 4

Based on all of these steps, it will now be up to you to decide if you would in fact like for me to edit your manuscript. We’ll set expectations, sign a contract, and set a hard deadline. Then I’ll get to work!
