Copyediting Service
A copyediting service involves making technical edits to your manuscript to ensure it is correct, clear, and consistent. This includes addressing grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, improving sentence-level readability, and maintaining consistency in style and factual accuracy. I ensure your book adheres to The Chicago Manual of Style, APA Style Guide, or your in-house style guide, depending on your preference. How it works
Step 1
Fill out the general inquiry questionnaire. It should only take a few minutes and will help me determine whether we are a good fit. I will get back to you within 48 hours.
Step 2
You’ll send me your manuscript, and I will perform a free sample edit (500-1000) of the kind of editing I believe it needs. This will help you determine if you like my editing style.
Step 3
If you would like, we can meet in person or over Zoom for 15 minutes to further discuss the kind of editor you are looking for.
Step 4
Based on all of these steps, it will now be up to you to decide if you would in fact like for me to edit your manuscript. We’ll set expectations, sign a contract, and set a hard deadline. Then I’ll get to work!
